Best Practice

Let your followers know

A lot of your customers probably don’t know who we are and how we work, a little introduction can go a long way in helping your customers understand this cool new payment method they have access to! Neon Gypsy created their own stylised guide to PartPay. This was shared to their Facebook page and discussed the PartPay process in their own special way. Click here to see how Neon Gypsy let her Facebook customers know.

We’d love it if you could use #PartPay and #HappyShopping when posting about us.

Use our widget calculator

The widget calculates the instalments for customers, it helps them understand how it works as well as showing them exactly how much money they’ll need. Here’s an example of how the Calculator widget looks on the website. We’re happy to work with you to have a widget to match the look and feel of your website.

Let us promote you

We love letting our customers know about our new partners. If you’ve got some cool images available, flick them our way for us to let our customers know. Here’s what we did with Koala to let our followers known their mattresses are available with PartPay.

Email Out

eDMs (email outs) are a great way to make your promotions more appealing to potential PartPayers. One of the ways this has been done is by showing the 25% installment prices alongside the promotion prices in the emails. It’s also a great way to remind your customers about the option to PartPay their purchases. Here’s an example of a reminder put in their eDMs

Technical Tips:
  1. Target the right people – one of the most receptive groups to target is Abandoned Carts, these are people who have visited your website, added something to their cart, but didn’t end up completing their transaction. Letting these people know they can complete their purchase and pay 25% upfront can be enough to get them over the line. Export their information through your web platform and remarket to them using eDM’s, facebook or even google ads.
  2. Get them at the right time – Our research has shown that PartPayers are most likely to make their purchase decisions on Wednesdays or Thursdays after 7:00pm. giving them a gentle reminder around this time might be all the encouragement they need to complete their order (or maybe extend their order using PartPay)
  3. Let them know – The more they see PartPay the more likely they are to complete a transaction. Partners who’ve incorporated PartPay in their homepage (e.g in a slider image or tile image) have had proportionally more successful PartPay purchases and fewer abandoned carts than those who do not.
